I had a couple of requests from people that they'd like an audible alert if someone arrives at the table where they're seated. In response to this, I've added a "shop bell" sound when someone arrives, and a "door shutting" sound when someone leaves.
I don't plan on adding any more sounds, since I don't want the site to get too noisy. Remember, if you don't like the sounds, there's an option to turn them off in your user profile area (click on your user name up in the top right corner to see this).

I don't have any sound...I have the play sounds box checked in my profile. Please advise...

The most obvious first thing to try is to make sure that sound is working in your browser, in general. To test, try visiting this page:

There are 6 audio formats at the top. Please test by clicking each button which says "(click to try it)". I tried it on my own computer. I was able to play the WebM, Ogg Vorbis, wave, and MP3 sounds, but not the rest. Let me know which sounds worked for you, if any.
Please also report some details about your computer system. Go to http://supportdetails.com/. Make sure to use the browser that you normally use to play at World of Card Games. You can either download the info as a PDF and send it to me directly, or have them send it to me by filling in the form at the top and giving them my email address, marya@worldofcardgames.com
