outage

The site was down for almost 24 hours today. I apologize to everyone for the long disruption! It's back up now, and I'm investigating what went wrong.

Hijacking the subject as I don't know how to start a new thread.. the timeout of 10 seconds is annoying and causing a lot of issues sometimes, sometimes the network is not very good for a brief moment and for that the game gets trashed as it picks wrong cards to be thrown etc. 10 sec is extremely low for a thoughtful game like 29 when you have to think carefully. Is it possible that you increase the timeout?
Thanks

Thanks for the feedback! I haven't had any complaints about the timeout for 29... I'll think about increasing it just a little bit. I do realize that, unfortunately, network issues can sometimes cause problems which lead to a timeout.

Regarding timeouts, I find the timeout in Spades is also very fast. Again network issues which seem to be happening more and more often lately, causes most of the problems. Please increase the timeouts for Spades also....

I have also experienced the timeout issue but only at the beginning of a hand where thought goes into choosing cards to pass. Is it possible to have a slightly longer timeout, say 15 seconds, only for the pass?

It's safe to say you are talking about Hearts. I haven't increased timeouts except at private tables, but these couple of comments make me think that perhaps the initial timeout could be a little longer.
