chat shorthand

When chatting, people have developed a shorthand for frequently used expressions in playing cards.

Here's a list of such microwords. I will update this when I have time; feel free to write me with more.
  1. btw - "By the way"
  2. fwiw - "For what it's worth"
  3. gg - "Good game!"
  4. gga - "Good game, all!"
  5. gge - "Good game, everyone!"
  6. gj - "Good job!"
  7. gla - "Good luck, all!"
  8. gtg - "Got to go"
  9. lol - "Laugh out loud"
  10. np - "no problem" 
  11. nh - "nice hand"
  12. opp - "opponent"
  13. p - partner, e.g. "gjp" means "Good job, partner!"
  14. rotfl - "Roll on the floor laughing"
  15. thx or tx or tks - "Thanks"
  16. ty - "Thank you"
  17. tyvm - "Thank you very much"
  18. vnh - "Very nice hand!"
  19. wd - "Well done"
  20. wtg - "Way to go!"
  21. yw - "You're welcome"
  22. yvw - "You're very welcome!"

Game-specific abbreviations:

Spades
  1. gc - "Great cover!" (this sometimes also means "good cards")
  2. icu or cu - "I see you" (meaning you see that your partner is going nil - often considered table talk, but it depends on how strict you're being)
  3. nn - "Nice nil!"
  4. nnu2 - "Nice nil, you two!"
  5. ns - "Nice set!"
  6. xcp - "Excellent cover, partner!" (said to someone covering nil)
Euchre
  1. gc - "Good cards!" or "good call"
  2. ne - "Nice euchre!"
  3. nep - "Nice euchre, p!"
